周公旦研究员课题组

The Research Group of Dr. Zhou Gongdan at the Institute of Mountain Hazards and Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences, focuses on the dynamics of mountain hazards and cryospheric processes. The team investigates glacier lake outburst floods (GLOFs), moraine dam stability, debris flow and landslide mechanisms, and multi-physics coupling processes in high mountain environments. Their mission is to advance fundamental understanding and predictive modeling of complex mountain hazards, integrating field observation, numerical simulation, and monitoring technologies to support sustainable development and disaster resilience in the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau and other alpine regions worldwide.
